What cafeteria furniture options are there to choose from?

Cafeteria Furniture

When it comes to cafeteria furniture, there are plenty of options available. The most basic option is folding cafeteria tables and using folding chairs for seating. This option is usually selected for smaller cafeterias with lower seating capacity requirements. Larger facilities with more students means you will need to buy more chairs. That is one more thing, or group of things, to purchase and maintain.

For those larger cafeterias and higher numbers of students, it is better to go with tables that have built-in seating options. The most common choices are tables with attached bench or stool seating. Both options are fine. Try to find ones that have lockable wheels so it is easy to rearrange them at will.

Whichever route you decide to take, make sure you pay attention to two important things when looking to purchase cafeteria furniture. First, make sure that you choose the right height for the tables and seating. At BizChair.com you can choose from tables with heights based on the age groups they are appropriate for. A senior in high school probably won't be comfortable sitting at a table designed for the height of someone in third grade.

Second, make sure the tables, whether made of wood or metal, have a protective layer or backing sheet that will prevent warping and other damage. Cafeteria tables can take a beating from students day in and day out, so you want something that will stand up to the test.
